The Trader Behind TraderHarvest
My journey into trading began around 2011, when I opened my first live trading account through a Croatian brokerage firm.
My first experience was surprisingly positive. One of my early trades was a position in gold that I held, with some adjustments along the way, for several months and eventually closed at a profit. But that early success was only the beginning of a much longer learning process.
Before and after entering the live markets, I spent time trading on demo accounts and studying the fundamentals: pips, spreads, commissions, bid and ask prices, candlestick patterns, technical indicators, trading strategies, and risk management.
Over the following years, I opened accounts with several brokers and experienced both profitable periods and losses. Trading was not a straight line of success. Mistakes, losses, and periods away from the market became part of the learning process.
Around 2021, I returned to trading with a strong interest in the growing prop firm industry. At first, funded trading appeared relatively straightforward: follow the rules, pass an evaluation, and gain access to larger trading capital.
Experience taught me otherwise.
I learned that having a trading strategy is only one part of the challenge. Risk management, emotional control, patience, consistency, and the discipline to follow a trading plan are just as important.
That experience eventually became one of the reasons behind TraderHarvest.
Today, I continue to study trading psychology, develop my own trading tools and software for planning, risk management and journaling, and work toward a more structured and disciplined approach to the markets.
TraderHarvest is where I share that process and what I learn along the way.
